For many brands, redesigning their site is their biggest fear. There are so many things that can go wrong. But what can happen if it goes right?

When your site is "just" working, it is very hard to decide for a redesign. We get it. Theres a chance the branding won't be spot on, that users get confused and the sales will actually drop!

But at some point, just dumping more money into ad budget won't help. Actually quite the opposite. On the other hand, if you optimize your site first, then any dollar you put into your ad budget, will make you even more money.

The long lasting partnership

Us and Gelavis go way back, we started working together in 2018. Throughout the years we we're optimizing their site more and more and got to some really great numbers - around 3% CVR.

But at the start of 2025 the brand underwent a full rebranding. New visuals, new communication and a new level of quality. Their site needed to keep up and reflect the new visual style.

We've knew the danger

Our client invested a lot of money into the rebranding itself. We knew that if we don't get this right, it might endanger their whole business!

Keep what's working, improve what's dragging

We did a thorough analysis of the current site. We knew our strongest spots, we basically did not touch those at all. If somethings working, don't change it, duh.

On the other hand we identified places that could have better results. Those spots we're redesigned accordingly.

New design improving performance, while being on-brand

Final design was done in Figma that we leveraged for user testing. We also conducted testing with their most loyal customers.

Main priority was simplicity, loading speed and better first impression.

The result was still visually stunning, loading fast but now representing the new rebranded Gelavis.

The last thing was to see the real performance!

The result

We carefully watched the data, we waited for about 3-4 weeks before making any conclusions, just so we have enough data.

And about a month later, we saw 20% increase in revenue! Without any special offers or sales running.

Conclusion

Redesigning your site can be scary, but it is also full of opportunities to make it right! If the foundation for it are real data and expertise, it WILL improve the performance.

It's not always about "fixing" broken things. It's even more about improving things that were "just ok".
